Payment Options

Payment in full of your monthly utility bill is due twenty-one days after the date your bill is mailed. If your current bill becomes delinquent, a 2% late charge will be added. Please notify us if you are 65 years of age or older to avoid this late charge.

If payment is mailed, we recommend you pay by check or money order. You may also pay at our main office at 401 N. 9th Ave., Alpena, Michigan between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or in the night depository located between the two driveways. Also available is our BUDGET PLAN, APC AUTOMATIC BILL PAYMENT PLAN and CREDIT CARD payments. Alpena Power Company has 15 bill payment centers for your convenience. All bills should be paid by the due date to avoid a late charge. Presentation of your bill is necessary when paying at a bill payment centers, APC lobby or APC night depository.
