Rate Information

APC currently groups its customers into a variety of different rate categories. Check your bill to be sure you are being billed under the proper rate schedule. It is indicated under the "Rate Type" on the front of your bill. Complete rate schedules are available upon request and if you wish we will assist you in determining the most appropriate rate for your account. * An additional Customer Choice Implementation Surcharge fee of $0.00019 per kWh will be applied on customer's bills for a period of twelve billing months, beginning July 2007 and ending June 2008.

Residential Service (pdf)
Open to any customer desiring service for domestic and farm uses, which include only those purposes which are usual in individual private family dwellings, or separately metered apartments, and in the usual appurtenants buildings served through the residential meter.

Large Industrial Service (pdf)
Available to any customer whose capacity requirement is 1,250 kW or more. However, customers whose capacity requirements exceed 2,000 kW, or whose service requirements involve unusual Company investments, may be required to enter into a special contract. This rate is not available for resale purposes. Please click on this heading to view the tariff for this rate.

Alternative Energy Economic Development Service (pdf)
This rate is available only to customers taking service under this rate as of June 12, 2007. Available to any customer desiring service for operation of electric furnaces for metal melting or the reduction of metallic ores, where the furnace capacity requirement is 500 kW or more.

Outdoor Protective Lighting Service (pdf)
Customers desiring controlled service for outdoor protective lighting on premises where the customer is presently taking service under a standard rate schedule.

$10.75 per light for a 100 watt light on existing pole and existing secondary facilities.
$12.45 per light for a 100 watt light on new pole and single span of new secondary facilities.
$17.90 per light for a 250 watt light on new pole and existing secondary facilities.
$19.60 per light for a 250 watt light on new pole and new secondary facilities.

Plus or minus the Power Supply Cost Recovery Factor.
State sales tax will be added where applicable.
