INFORMATION SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

Alpena Power Company, an investor-owned electric utility serving 17,000 customers in N.E. Michigan, is currently seeking an energetic, results driven candidate for the Information Systems Department.

Position Summary:

This position will have broad responsibilities including assisting the IS Department in the implementation, maintenance and support of technology, hardware, software and security.  Protect information assets including sensitive data within various environments.  Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure.

This position requires an Associate Degree or equivalent technical training with additional education preferred.  Experience with the following is preferred:

Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (PC and Server), Active Directory, network troubleshooting, firewalls, switches, VOIP phones, cybersecurity best practices, backup and recovery, and assisting end users.

Must have a valid Driver License and favorable driving record upon hiring and ability to maintain throughout duration of employment; and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
