Alpena Power will purchase electricity from renewable energy systems defined as Qualifying Facilities (QF) under the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (PURPA). This includes solar, wind, hydro, biomass and landfill gas.
To sell your electricity to Alpena Power you must complete our Interconnection Process and enter into a Power Purchase Agreement.
